Umpi was awarded on 27 November 1998 during the "National Energy and Environment Conference" organized by ENEA, with the "Special Energy and Environment Award".
Umpi received the "Ok Italia" award from Unicredit Group on June 29, 2009, in the category "Internationalization and excellence of the territory".
Umpi was awarded on 29 October 2009, among the top 10 companies in the energy efficiency sector, with the "Sustainable Development Award" promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development, with the participation of the President of the Republic.
On 10 November 2011, Umpi was awarded in the "Green Technologies" category, with the first Sette Green Awards, promoted by Corriere della Sera.
On 4 June 2013, Umpi received the "SG Paris 2013" award as the most innovative solution in the SMART CITY category. The award was given by a jury of eight institutional and academic experts from ADEME, CDC, CEE, CGI Business Consulting, FNCCR, La Tribune, Université Paris Descartes, Supelec.
